LIGHT HEARTED SOCIAL DRAMA

Vanilla Sundae is a fast paced feelgood movie along the lines of Hannah Montana.  We follow the adventures, music and energy of Jasveer “Jazz” Kohli (aka Vanilla Sundae) and her characterful youthful friends (and enemies) as she tries to reach stardom as a pop star.

In her way though stands her social background, based as she is in the Sikh community in London’s Southall; she is forced to sneak around in often farcical scenarios to avoid the watchful eyes of her overbearing father .  Fate though takes a turn when an entry for the prestigious professional Indian music awards, Bollywood Dreams disappears and she’s given the chance to stand centre stage at last.  But can she stand the pressure and still remain anonymous to the Sikh community?
